an organization of professionals who strive for excellence in efficiently transporting and
optimally caring for ill and injured people, who
facilitate access to desired health care resources, and who contribute to the improvement
of Emergency Medical Services through evaluation, education, and leadership.

Guardian Angel Ambulance Services, Inc. is fully licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health to operate as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS). The company currently has established three (3) base-sites of operation. The corporate office is located in West Homestead and may be accessed by appointment only, the general business offices and main base of operation is located in West Mifflin Borough and a satellite base-site is located in Verona Borough. The West Mifflin site also serves as the location for the Dispatch Center, Billing Office and the vehicle/equipment maintenance operation.
In 1998 the company established the base in the Borough of Verona and began to provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance service to the community and has continued to serve the community through today. A subscription program has been established for the community and an Advanced Life Support (ALS) emergency crew is assigned twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Once the crew is dispatched on a call, the dispatch center immediately dispatches a back-up crew to provide coverage until the initial crew is available.
During the 2001 year, the Training Coordinator applied for and secured recognition for Guardian Angel Ambulance Services, Inc. to become a Community Training Center through the American Heart Association. This recognition allows the company to maintain a roster of instructors who may conduct CPR programs and various First Aid training programs and function as a resource center for the necessary supplies and equipment.
Early during the 2002 year, Guardian Angel Ambulance Services, Inc. applied for and received certification as an Accredited Continuing Education Sponsor through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. This accreditation allows the company to act as a continuing education site and conduct programs for certified Emergency First Responders, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), EMT-Paramedics (EMT-Ps) and Health Professionals. These individuals are required to complete various continuing education in order to maintain their certification with the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
The company is currently managed by individuals with a combined total of over 100 years of emergency medical service (EMS) experience. This includes the Owner/President with twenty-four (24) years of experience, Executive Director with thirty-five (35) years of experience in both the volunteer and paid sector, Compliance Officer/Marketing Manager with twenty (20) years of experience and the Director of Field Operations with twenty-two (22) years of experience.
